Dr. Coldiron has experience in small animal medicine & surgery as well as zoo, exotic and wildlife medicine & surgery. He was raised in Harrah, Oklahoma and has lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for the past 18 years. He has several non-traditional pets including Guinea pigs, an Amazon parrot, and several ball pythons. Two domesticated felines, Cali and Ariel, rule the Coldiron home! Zoey, a true mutt, and Katie, a German Shorthair Pointer, share guard duties!
Dr. Coldiron has been married to his wife, Kym, since 1998. They have two sons, Caden & Isaac, and a daughter, Isabella. Currently, Kym is a registered nurse at OU Medical Center/Children's Hospital. She also enjoys being a part-time stay-at-home mom. Dr. Coldiron started working in the kennels at University Animal Hospital in Norman during his undergraduate studies at The University of Oklahoma. After receiving his bachelor's degree from OU, Dr. Coldiron moved to Edmond and continued working as a veterinary assistant at Animal Medical Clinic until he was accepted into the college of veterinary medicine in 2000. Dr. Coldiron graduated from the Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2004.
Dr. Coldiron's hobbies include being a dad, fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, rapelling, camping and hiking, rock climbing, weight-lifting, running, playing guitar and riding motorcycles. He is currently working on a book for pet owners, and it is expected to be ready for publication sometime in the near future.
Dr. Coldiron's medical interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue laser surgery, laser therapy, anesthesiology and pain management, internal medicine, ultrasonography and dermatology.

Dr. Minson Graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Since graduation he has followed in his father’s footsteps practicing in small animal private practice. His passion is for exotic animal medicine including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and invertebrates. He also enjoys seeing dogs and cats. He shares his home with his Wife Cathy and his son as well as 12 snakes and one cranky tortoise. Dr. Minson has been a proud member of the Oklahoma City Herpetological and Invertebrate Society for the last ten years. Outside of the office he spends his time out in rural Oklahoma as an amateur paleontologist searching for fossils and other signs of Oklahoma’s ancient past. He can also be found behind the barrel of a m1841 Six-pounder cannon involved in living history portraying elements of Oklahoma’s past history and culture.
